Sound waves were used to create special effects for the Ink Jar music video. The footage below contains clips from the day Kevin Serra (of Cloud Seeding) and I tested our materials and process. First we generated a series of tones from a laptop and ran them through an external mixer to an amplifier powering a 15" subwoofer. Then we experimented with a series of flat surfaces to reverberate the sounds. Non-newtonian fluid was poured onto these surfaces with varying results.
